Meet Mark Siegrist, Licensed Acupuncturist
The Spine and Wellness Center is proud to have Mark Siegrist, a reputable Licensed Acupuncturist as part of our team. Owning and operating Seven Star Acupuncture, while working at The Spine and Wellness Center a few days a week, Mark has been practicing and educating himself in eastern medicine and philosophy for a decade now.
After training in the martial arts, back in 2000, Mark soon became interested in learning how energy flows through the body; he became certified in Shiatsu massage and soon began his travels to both Beijing, China where he became certified in medical QI Gong, under the World Health Organization, and to Chang Mai, Thailand where he received his certification in Traditional Thai Massage. Mark had the honor of studying with acupuncture masters, Kikko Matsumoto and Dr. Carson; Kikko Matsumoto is an internationally recognized acupuncturist, known for her scholarly work and publications on acupuncture and her powerful teaching style. Dr. Carson is one of the few disciples of the late Master Tung, a legendary acupuncturist. With only a handful of Tung practitioner on the east coast, Mark was fortunate enough to have not only trained first-hand with Dr. Carson, but also become certified in Tung-style acupuncture.
In addition to acupuncture, Mark is a certified Reiki Master and a Tai Chi Chaun and Wing Chung kung fu instructor. The number of clients coming into The Spine and Wellness Center for acupuncture has grown so quickly that Mark has had to increase his hours of availability to accommodate those in need. We encourage patients to consult with Mark before their treatment if there are any concerns or hesitations; Marks is more than happy to answers client questions without any obligation.
Meet Stephanie Massimini, Licensed Acupuncturist
The Spine and Wellness Center is proud to have Stephanie Massimini, a reputable Licensed Acupuncturist as part of our team.
Stephanie has been practicing in the health care field for over 10 years. Her journey began practicing as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA in 2001. This peaked her interest even more about health, wellness and how the human body worked as a whole. She then incorporated medical massage therapy to my practice as well in 2002. She decided to study acupuncture after positive experiences as a patient herself. The results she received were astonishing and she knew this would bring her practice to the next level. It changed her life physically, mentally and emotionally as well as her perspective about lifestyle, dietary habits and overall wellness.
She is a graduate from Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Montclair, NJ and a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the state of Pennsylvania and a Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture (Dipl. Ac.) as recognized by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM).
